Amaze your guests at Christmas with this greedy and melting fir tree! His secret? Roquefort spread, honey, raisins, shallots ... a divine mixture.


For 4 people :

  • 50 g Roquefort Spread Company
  • 1 C. tablespoon of olive oil
  • 5 shallots chopped
  • 15 cl Sauternes
  • ½ c. 4 spices
  • 2 tbsp. dry reasons
  • 1 C. honey
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 puff pastries
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Some pink berries


In a saucepan, sauté the shallots minced in olive oil over low heat until they are melting.

Add Sauternes, vinegar, 4 spices, raisins, honey, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes until a confit. And let cool before use.

Cut out the 2 puff pastries in the shape of a fir tree.

Spread the Roquefort spread on the first dough and then the shallot confit.

Arrange the second dough over it.

Draw with the knife without pushing too much 2 lines starting from the point to the bottom to realize the trunk.

Cut strips 1.5 to 2 cm horizontally leaving the central trunk intact.

Twist each band to form the branches of the tree.

Put the dough in the egg and sprinkle with pink berries.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 ° C.
